Nicotine Salts VS Freebase Nicotine - What's The Difference?

With the Juul now being the most popular vape on the market, nicotine salts are becoming more and more common as other manufacturers follow in Juul's footsteps. There's a lot of confusion about nicotine salts and how they differ from the nicotine most vapers are used to, so we're going to look at what the difference is and why it's worth knowing about nicotine salts. The Juul is a commonly misunderstood vape, due in no small part to the fact that they're so simple to use. The Juul pods come pre-filled, and up until recently they only had one nicotine option with the only real choice being the flavor of the vape juice that comes in the Juul pod.

The packaging is labeled as containing “5% nicotine by weight”, where most e-juice is measured in milligrams per milliliter, like 3mg or 18mg. If you were to turn those numbers into a percentage by volume, 3mg would be 0.3% and 18mg would be 1.8%. Most people think that this means the Juul is 50mg, but since the pods are 5%…

Smok Novo Pod Vape Review

We've already tested the Smok Novo once before, and next to the other pod systems that were being released at the time, we decided it wasn't good enough to make the cut. We've been hearing about the Novo more and more often though, so we decided to revisit it and see what we think after we've had some experience with other pod vape kits.
The Smok Novo is a small refillable pod vape kit with a 450mAh battery and a 2ml pod. Unlike the Nord, Smok's larger pod vape, the Novo is auto draw and therefore has no buttons. I quite like auto draw pod vapes, because not having any buttons means that you don't need to turn it on and off, and it's just that much easier to vape.
Like the Nord, the Novo has a metal body with snakeskin resin plates on the front and back of the device. I'm not exactly the biggest fan of snakeskin resin, but the lack of swirly colors that you usually see with resin does provide a remarkably clean look. Since the snakeskin resin isn't…

TOP 5 BEST VAPE STARTER KITS 2019

As 2019 approaches, many people will be making the switch to vaping. With so many products on the market, it can be extremely difficult to find the right vape for you and even harder to find something that's beginner friendly. In order to make the change as smooth and successful as possible, we've put together a list of the best vape starter kits for 2019!
1. JUUL
Yes, seriously. Even though the Juul is considerably more expensive than other options, it's small, light, incredibly easy to use, and might even be a little cheaper than buying cigarettes. The 5% nicotine salt in Juul pods provides a nicotine hit that's very similar to the nicotine that you get from the average cigarette, and with Juul introducing 3% nicotine pods, you'll even be able to wean yourself off of nicotine a little more effectively. Between its low skill requirements, familiar feel, and a small variety flavors to choose from, it can be extremely effective in helping you switch to vaping. As succ…
